According to Jonsson, a multisensor does not need to be registered as a fire alarm, and therefore the X2 Smoke does not need to have the documentation required by the Housing Authority.
– We can sell the multisensor X2 Smoke how much we want, says Jonsson GP.
When Jonsson is asked if this is really true in view of the Housing Authority’s demand for a recall, he answers:
– If we sell and market it as a pure fire alarm yes, but we sell it as a multi-sensor.
