Apple will release a new product that sports fans will

The apple brand is tackling the sports world and that should please fans.

When we talk about Apple, we mainly think of phones and its famous iPhone. We can also think of its computers, its tablets or even its latest discovery with the Vision Pro headset, a very immersive virtual reality headset which has created a buzz in recent weeks.

But Apple has decided to attack another market: that of sports. Please note, we are not talking about a special connected watch for athletes, or even an application that will allow you to do your sport every day. Even fewer connected shoes that would allow you to control your pace. Apple this time wants to launch a sports results application to add yet another new service to its iPhone.

Until now, there was a lack of a real application for sports results. Apple put an end to this “anomaly” with Apple Sports, a brand new application that brings together the results of many sports leagues, from the NHL to Ligue 1, including US university basketball to the Spanish, Italian and English football championships. Users have the ability to customize their dashboard to track their favorite teams, leagues and tournaments. Apple promises the gradual addition of other leagues such as MLB, NFL, NCASF, NWSL and WNBA for their upcoming seasons.

Apple’s goal is to establish itself in the years to come in the broadcasting of events, to buy the rights to certain competitions. Apple TV+, the American giant’s streaming platform, already broadcasts matches from MLS, the American football league, notably with its new star Lionel Messi. It also offers a selection of baseball matches every Friday to perfect its catalog and satisfy fans. Rumors in recent months have spoken of Apple’s interest in broadcasting Formula 1 in the coming years.

Bad news, however, for French fans of the Apple brand and of sport: the new sports results application is not yet present in France. It is only accessible in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom… And if the application remains correct for the moment, there are still adjustments to be made for Apple. In a short time, we will find the results of past matches, the schedule of upcoming competitions, statistics, etc. Although it is not available in Europe, several languages are already implemented with French, English, and Spanish (Apple Sports requires iOS 17.2 or later version to be downloaded and used).
