Windows 11 Update Affects Users with Problems

This month’s cumulative update for Windows 11 is reportedly causing serious problems in some cases. This is KB5035853 for Windows 11 23H2 and 22H2, and it started rolling out earlier this week with some useful new features. This includes being able to use the Snipping Tool to edit photos from your Android smartphone directly on your computer, as well as adding support for much faster (80Gbps) wired connectivity via USB4 v2.0.

Windows 1 Update Affects Users With Its Issues

However, some Windows 11 users encountered major problems installing the March update; Windows Latest highlights these and the site experiences Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) after running the update process. The tech site’s BSoD came with an error saying ‘Thread Stuck in Device Driver’, which isn’t very helpful, and others, such as a reader running a bunch of Lenovo devices, were affected by this issue.

Someone chimes in to say they’re affected too. There are other reports in this thread stating that the update installed but then caused ‘random’ BSoDs. On top of that, there are also people complaining about Windows 11 running slowly, their computers stuttering after the update, or even freezing periodically.
