(Finance) – RCS MediaGroupa publishing group listed on Euronext Milan, closed the 2023 with consolidated net revenues equal to 828 million euros (845 million in 2022). Digital revenues represent approximately 26.3% of overall revenues. Revenues advertisers in 2023 they amount to 347.1 million euros, up compared to 345.4 million in 2022 (+1.7 million). Revenues editorial and circulation amount to 332.9 million euros (355.8 million in 2022) and show a decrease of 22.9 million, substantially attributable to the drop in revenues from collateral works (-10.8 million) and circulation revenues through the press, partially offset by growth in digital subscription revenues.
L’EBITDA of 2023 is positive for 136.2 million euros, up by 17.7 million compared to 2022 (+118.5 million). As of December 31, 2023, thenet financial debt it is reduced to 23.4 million euros, from 31.6 million on 31 December 2022.
RCS MediaGroup believes this is possible the target to achieve in 2024 strongly positive margins (EBITDA), growing compared to those achieved in 2023 and to continue with further cash generation from operational management.
At the end of December, the Group’s newspapers reached an active digital customer base of over one million subscriptions: 595 thousand for Corriere della Sera, 214 thousand for Gazzetta, 136 thousand for El Mundo and 82 thousand for Expansion.
