Helsinki IFK tied the wins in the final series of the hockey Women’s League to 1–1, when it defeated Kiekko-Espo 2–0 in its full home hall in Pirkkola.
Those from Helsinki were responsible for the hits Pauliina Salonen and Clara Rozier. Miia Vainio kept a clean sheet with 29 saves.

HIFK’s head coach Saara Niemi did not want to comment on the refereeing line of the match.
– Of course, everyone has emotions on the surface when important issues are played. The referees try to do their best, as do the teams. At this point, I’m not going to (draw a lottery) which way it went, Saara Niemi said.
The teams will meet next time on Tuesday.
