Can a childcare center refuse children who have not been vaccinated?
There is currently no clear guideline for childcare. The House of Representatives wants a new initiative law that would regulate that childcare centers may refuse unvaccinated children. The proposal was adopted by the House of Representatives on February 18, 2020, but the Senate must still approve.
Schools are not allowed to refuse unvaccinated children, because children aged 5 to 16 are subject to compulsory education.
