It is not yet such a drama in the Netherlands, but on the market in Utrecht, fishmonger Lubert de Graaf sees that consumers are giving up the Dutch shrimp for a while. “They want to eat it, but it is just too expensive. I now have 200 grams with me, that is purely for the enthusiast, because I hardly sell it anymore.”
