Chatham-Kent police responded to a complaint in Wallaceburg Tuesday afternoon that didn’t turn out to be as crappy as expected.
Police went to the Margaret Avenue area around 3 pm about a tenant believed to be throwing feces at contractors working on the site.
Police quickly learned the tenant was actually throwing bags of peanut butter to feed the squirrels.
The 54-year-old woman was cautioned and advised to stop throwing objects, police said.

An Alvinston man was arrested after Chatham-Kent police responded to the area of Forhan Street in Wallaceburg last Tuesday night about a possible impaired driver.
The suspect was taken to police headquarters for breath tests, which resulted in him being charged with a blood-alcohol exceeding the legal limit.
He was released with an April 13 short date.
