(Finance) – The Group Caltagironewhich operates in the cement, publishing, major works, real estate and financial sectors, closed the 2023 financial year with a Net income equal to 261.6 million euros, an increase of 20.3% compared to the previous year (217.4 million euros).
The result attributable to the Group amounted to 131.1 million euros, an increase of 17.8% compared to 2022 (111.3 million euros).
The consolidated financial statements include the effects deriving from the application of the accounting standard IAS 29 relating to hyperinflationary economies.
THE Operating revenues they stood at 1.99 billion euros, in line with the previous year.
The Gross operating margin it was positive for 430.5 million euros (349.3 million euros in the previous year) with an increase of 23.2% following the improvement in profitability in the cement and large-scale works sectors.
The Operating incomenet of amortization, provisions and write-downs of 162 million euros (151.5 million euros at 31 December 2022) was positive for 268.5 million euros (197.8 million euros in 2022).
There Net Financial Positionequal to 237.9 million euros (negative for 43.1 million euros at 31 December 2022), is an improvement of 280.9 million euros compared to the previous year mainly due to the positive operating cash flow of the group Cementir and the Vianini Lavori group.
The Board of Directors resolved to propose to the Shareholders’ Meeting the distribution of a dividend equal to 0.25 euros. The dividend will be paid on May 22, 2024 (coupon detachment on the stock exchange on May 20, 2024) and with record date on May 21, 2024.
