Strong reactions to Princess Kate’s photo miss

Now the reactions are raging after Kate Middleton herself went out on social media and admitted that the picture had been manipulated.

“How did the happy Mother’s Day photo of the Princess of Wales and her three children turn into the biggest Photoshop fail ever?” writes Sean O’Gradywriter at The Independent.

British court expert Peter Hunt signs X:

“This raises the same question that a relative of Queen Elizabeth once asked me when it was revealed that I was of Irish descent: ‘Can we trust you?'”

Fosters conspiracy theories

Conspiracy theories have been rife on the internet since Princess Kate has not been seen in public since shortly after Christmas. When the picture was released, it was the first official sign of life from the princess. That the latter turned out to be manipulated puts an end to the conspiracies, says James Savage, editor-in-chief of The Local.

– If you want to kill conspiracy theories, straightness and honesty are central. In this case, they have basically left incorrect information, he says.

Why do you think this image was edited then?

– The most likely thing is that they wanted to make it look as good as possible. It’s completely human to want to look good in a picture, says Savage.

On Monday afternoon, Princess Kate was seen together with her husband Prince William sitting in a car on the way from Windsor Castle.
