“It sits in the walls” first saw the light of day on SVT in the fall of 2015, then under the direction of the building antiques Erika Åberg and the historian Christopher O’Regan.
As of 2019, however, it is Richard Thunerwho also appears as an expert in “Antikrundan”, who travels around together with Åberg and takes viewers as well as participants on a journey back in time.
Just one year after Thunér became part of the host duo, SVT suddenly announced that “It sits in the walls” would be shut down indefinitely, but after a storm of viewers, the channel reversed the matter.
– After a massive commitment with lots of well-formulated declarations of love to the program “It’s on the walls”, we realize that the viewers want more and we are therefore making another brand new season of the program, said Anton Glanzeliusprogram orderer for entertainment at SVT, i a press release then.

And now the show is actually in its tenth season. At the beginning of March, both Erika Åberg and Rickard Thunér shared posts on Instagram where they said that the recordings had started.
“Today we started filming season 10 (ten)!! of ‘It’s in the walls’. In the next few months we will be walking on winding roads, riding funny vehicles, reading scripts and moving garbage cans that are in the picture. There will be building maintenance and stories are told. It looks like there will be great programs ahead of the fall again,” Thunér wrote in his post.

But what will the upcoming season be like? When News24 talking to Rickard Thunér, who is therefore in the middle of ongoing recordings, he promises a ravishing new edition of “It sits in the walls”.
– It is high and low, with different types of houses. A good range with both large and small houses and incredibly exciting stories as usual. There will be a lot of surprises, so viewers can expect a very strong season.
– Erika and I do everything we can to make it as good as possible.
