The 23-year-old Khachab, with over 157 kilograms the heaviest participant in a well-filled Gelredome, could hardly cause Verhoeven any problems in three rounds. Jamal Ben Saddik, Verhoeven’s arch-enemy, stood in Khachab’s corner. The Belgian Moroccan has served a doping suspension, but withdrew from the Grand Prix.
