US President Joe Biden accuses Trump of bowing to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
– I will not budge, says Biden in his annual speech to Congress about the state of the country.
Biden began his live State of the Union address by warning against Russia.
– If anyone in this room thinks that Putin will stop with Ukraine, I can assure you that he will not.
– But Ukraine can stop Putin if we stand with Ukraine and provide the weapons they need to defend themselves, Biden continued.
Biden also swings at his representative and rival Donald Trump, without mentioning him by name.
– Now my predecessor, a former Republican president, says to Putin, quote: “Do whatever the hell you want”.
– I think it’s outrageous, it’s dangerous and it’s unacceptable, says Biden.
The speech is ongoing.
