The authority for social protection and preparedness (MSB) is commissioned by the government to make a new version of the brochure “If the crisis or war comes”.
“With the serious security policy situation and Sweden’s upcoming membership in NATO, a new, updated version is needed,” says Carl-Oskar Bohlin (M), Minister for Civil Defence, in a press release.
The brochure “If the crisis or war is coming” was distributed to Swedish households in 2018, and the new version is due to expire in 2024.
The brochure has crisis and war information, and addresses how Swedish households can prepare for events such as military conflicts, IT attacks and extreme weather.
No later than January 31, 2025, the final report on the assignment must be submitted to the Ministry of Defence.
