“Husdrömmar” premiered back in 2014 and has since been broadcast for eleven seasons on SVT. In the last season, the episodes have had brilliant viewing figures.
On Mondays, when the long-running series is broadcast, more than 800,000 viewers have tuned in to the program, which has meant that “Husdrömmar” has been on top of the TV for several weeks in a row.

In the past season, the viewers got to see, among other things, how a former mental hospital became a collective in Malmö and how a dalagård in Falun became a modern family farm.
And in Monday’s episode, it was off to the West Coast.
“Anna and Joachim feel free to do the opposite. When they started looking for a house at Tjörn eight years ago, they were primarily looking for a garden. They are both gardeners. Now that both garden and family have become too big for their small single cabin, they want to build a big and nice house, but it has to be completely adapted to the garden. During the recording, the couple was faced with several challenges and the fact is that several events were not shown in the finished program. Joakim reveals this in an interview with Live & Live.
– They were quite kind and cut out many small embarrassments. We were worried enough about certain bits, so that was nice. There are a lot of emotions in building a house, he tells the newspaper.
However, exactly which “embarrassment” is meant is unclear.
