The alarm about the explosion reached the police shortly before 01 o’clock on Thursday night. An apartment building in the Johannelund district in Linköping has sustained material damage.
– There is damage to the property and we are investigating the extent of this, says Kristoffer Axelsson, RLC officer at the police.
No one should be injured in the explosion.
Great effort at the site
The police have a larger ongoing effort at the scene.
– The patrols work at the scene with investigation measures and support the rescue service and ambulance in their work.
There are currently no suspects or arrests.
– We are working to find the perpetrator or perpetrators.
The police have started a preliminary investigation into public dangerous devastation.
