A man in his 80s who was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of murder in Jönköping has been released again, the Prosecutor’s Office announces.
The man was arrested and detained after a close woman was found dead in a residence.
“The man is not removed from the investigation, but the suspicion against him has weakened. There are circumstances that make it currently impossible to rule out that it could be an accident,” says District Attorney Julia Rasmussen in a press release.
