93-year-old Ger Bindi, Grandma Bindi to many, was a well-known figure for Utrecht residents because she had run an ice cream parlor in the city for years. Her body was found on June 9, 2005 in her house on Gruttersdijk. She appeared to have been stabbed to death. There were items on the floor in her home and a box containing money and jewelry appeared to have been stolen.
