A group that claimed to have taken over Epic Games’ servers admitted that their claims were not true and described themselves as “professional fraudsters”.
The group claims that “Mogilievich’s goal was to deceive hackers into thinking they had the means to breach well-known companies that they could then resell to other hackers for their own use.”
They described their plans as “criminal masterminds” to attract attention, an official from the group told CyberDaily.
