The statement made by TOSFED on this subject was as follows: “International Automobile Federation (FIA) President Mohammed Ben Sulayem; He came to our country hosted by Turkish Automobile Sports Federation Honorary President Serkan Yazıcı and TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı and held a series of meetings in Marmaris. In addition to the day-long mutual consultations between the senior managements of TOSFED and the FIA, our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s reception of the FIA President among his busy schedule was a very important step for the development and future of automobile sports in our country. Making a statement about the visit, TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı said: ‘The visit of the FIA, of which we have been on the board of directors for a long time, to our country at the President level and our President accepting the FIA President was a development that honored us all. The meetings, which we saw as a step reflecting both the development curve of auto sports in our country and how much importance the FIA attaches to Turkey, were extremely productive.
