A 45-year-old man was found dead. In the same apartment was another man who was later arrested on suspicion of murder.
But the death is described as a mystery – there is no connection between the men.

There are many question marks for the investigators after the suspected murder in Gothenburg yesterday.
During Friday morning, police and paramedics tried to save a 45-year-old man’s life with CPR without success. They had received an alarm about a disturbance in an apartment and found the man at the scene. His life could not be saved. Another 35-year-old man was also in the apartment, who has now been arrested on probable cause on suspicion of murder.
But how the man died and why they were both in the same apartment is unclear.
– The connection between these people is by no means clear. We don’t see how they even fit together, says Cecilia Ekblad GP.
The man’s attitude unclear
According to the police, the men are not previously known. The arrested man only appears in a case concerning a financial dispute. According to investigator Ekblad, the police have heard the man but have not been able to find out what has happened.
– His attitude to the accusations is so far a bit unclear, she says.
On Friday, the police carried out a technical examination of the apartment and have spoken to neighbors.
– We have a lot of people on site and people are knocking on doors, many people live in this area, said police spokesperson Peter Adlersson on Friday.
