Increased rents, increased prices for electricity, food and rent have meant that one group has had enough. They want to lower the price of the beer. By introducing something they call the “beer price support”, the price of the beer in as many as 20 restaurants will be lowered.

There are 20 restaurants in Gothenburg that will have a reduced price on the entire beer range. Including Skanshof, Taverna Averna, Levantine and Moreno Pizza.
“We, who are major players in the industry, have an extra big responsibility, and we want to do what we can to stop the spiral of price increases,” writes Hamberg in a press release.

The beer price support will apply from March 1 and will run until April. The price of the beer will be reduced by ten percent. Hamburg gives an example of how much the beer price will be reduced.
– At Moreno Pizza, the price of a large strong one drops from SEK 39 to SEK 35 to give an example, he tells Nyheter24.

The Gothenburg family hopes they will inspire others. When asked if Hamberg believes that other big cities like Stockholm will follow their example, he answers:
