On February 18, 2019, a commercial of the game company Peak began to be broadcast on 41 television channels at the same time. While it was revealed that the commercial film was copied in AUDI’s advertisement abroad, Peak immediately stopped the campaign and announced that it had sued Medina Turgul DDB, the famous advertising company that prepared the advertisement.

19. Istanbul Commercial Court of First Instance ruled that the commercial film prepared by Medina Turgul DDB for Peak Games was stolen. The court decided to pay a total of 10.5 million TL, 100 thousand TL of which is non-pecuniary, to the plaintiff Peak company.

Peak Games announced the result of the lawsuit on their social media accounts. In the announcement, “The lawsuit we filed regarding the commercial that we published with great excitement three years ago, but which we later learned was stolen, has been concluded. The court approved that the advertisement film was not original, we won the case against the agency. We are very happy that the decision emphasized the importance of originality as well as the certification of our rightness.
