The cool kids on Steam are currently playing Balatro. This is a deck-building game based on poker and is a roguelike. In addition to Steam, where it works great on the Steam Deck, Balatro has also been playable on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and the Nintendo Switch since February 20, 2024.

As the developer revealed on February 23rd, 250,000 games had already been sold in just 72 hours – and Balatro was officially “Steam Deck verified.”
LocalThunk says on Twitter that he has now asked Windows whether Balatro can be installed as a bundle together with Solitare on any computer.
Balatro costs just under €13 on Steam. On the PS5 and Xbox you pay €15, on the Switch you pay €14.
