The attack in the SHL
The Leksand goalkeeper focuses in his statement to the committee on that Olli Palola first a club tip pressed against the ribs of Armalis, who was in pain and wanted to mark back.
“It was never my intention to hurt, only to mark and it ended unhappily. Immediately after it happened and I see the consequence, I feel extreme remorse. As I said, I had no intention of harming another player or fellow human being, but that was the unfortunate outcome in this case,” says the Lithuanian.

The disciplinary board writes in the judgment:
“Even if Mantas Armali’s offense was preceded by this, his subsequent choice to deliberately hit the opponent’s head with his glove is not justifiable”.
“It is scary”

– The X-ray showed a confirmed concussion, now rehabilitation awaits, says the team doctor Sadegh Dolatabadi to the newspaper.
