Most players in Diablo 4 feel like they don’t have much new to experience. It is all the more interesting when a very rare event occurs. A player now found a box that some people hadn’t even heard of.
What kind of box is that? It is the so-called “Motherlock Chest” – a mysterious chest locked with a glowing lock secured by four chains.
The chest is one of the rarest random events in Diablo 4 and has been in the game since Diablo 4 launched. If you want to open the “Mutterlock Chest”, you can’t do it that easily; you first have to solve a puzzle before the lock opens.
However, Reddit user Poppin-candy shared his find on Reddit and caused a stir because hardly anyone knew about the chest, despite many hours of play.

Only the correct sentence opens the chest
What kind of riddle is this? The puzzle about the “Motherlock Chest” consists of lots of sentences from which you have to choose the correct one so that the chest opens. Each sentence consists of three words that must be arranged in the correct order to grant access. There are three small monuments with inscriptions around the box’s location.
These monuments must be placed in the correct order: first the birth monument, then the life and finally the death. The words spoken and displayed on the screen during this process serve as the key to decipher the puzzle and open the box.

What was in the box? The loot in the chest was probably disappointing, as the creator of the Reddit post announced: “Unfortunately, the loot wasn’t as exciting as finding the chest.”
However, under the post, user TheHeinousMelvins gave a crucial hint: “When you meet your next one, and you successfully did the sentence on the first one, you will notice that this sentence is grayed out and no longer available. In fact, you get slightly better loot on the second one. Based on this trend, it is best to continue trading.”
It is therefore possible that there is very special loot waiting at the end of all the boxes. Due to the rarity of the box, it will probably be a while before we receive a final answer.
What do the other players say about the find? Many players simply didn’t know the box, even though they had already played a number of characters.

Below thekmanpwnudwn replies: “Since the start. They are extremely rare, I have 8 characters at level 100 and have never seen one. You have to find parts of a sentence hidden around the chest and then enter that sentence. You’ll be lucky if you get a legendary item, the loot is miserable for its rarity.”
