To protect the income of French farmers, Emmanuel Macron indicated a new clear objective for the government with the creation of “floor prices”, as part of a new law governing relations between food players. “It’s the most engaging thing we’ve ever done,” he said. Prices which will be based on production cost indicators for which each sector must agree.
