This is not the first time this man has stolen cleaning products. According to the staff at the hamburger restaurant, it is a repeat offender.
– They recognized the man. Apparently has taken cleaning agents before, says police spokesperson Jens Andersson.
A male employee in his 30s who tried to stop the thief from stealing the chemicals fell to the ground after being hit on the head with a stick and pinned to the ground. He started bleeding from the head and an ambulance was called.
The crime is classified as robbery, the case of retaliation, and the perpetrator has not yet been found.
– Now the active search operation is finished. Internally, the patrols have information that is searched for. If any observations have been made, we will of course be grateful for it, says Jens Andersson.
