A mafia boss sets two bounty hunters after a fraudster. It doesn’t sound like a complicated plot at first, but Guy Ritchie does builds several levels of interpretation into the film. Many scenes have references to Jewish Kabbalah, as Female First describes. Figures, constellations and numbers have symbolic meanings.
Petty criminals are at the same time the personification of philosophical elements, so Jake Green not only fights against Dorothy Macha, but also against the fate of his own ego.
