In Fortnite, the servers are going down on all platforms today, February 22nd (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). The maintenance work will be used to load update 28.30 onto the servers.
Update, 12:25 p.m.: The servers are up and running again and you can log in. We have listed the patch notes for Rocket Racing, LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite Festival under the gray box. Have fun!
Patch notes for patch 28.30
Rocket Racing brings new mode – Time Trial: Rocket Racing has implemented a new mode with patch 28.30, namely the time trial. This is a mode in which you can drive through your favorite routes and the focus is on getting to the finish line as quickly as possible. Collisions are switched off, so you cannot crash into your opponents.
Time trial missions bring free items: Whoever completes the time trial tasks receives the “Sprintspark” track and 13 different colors.
Mobile improvements:
The D-pad has been changed to a touchscreen joystick, allowing for more precise control. You can adjust its sensitivity in the settings.
The HUD has also been improved for mobile devices.
Important improvements and bug fixes:
You can now do air rolls. To do this, hold down the left trigger button (or space bar on PC) while in the air and steer at the same time to turn. You can also combine the rollers with your flight jets to fly over the track.
Various missions have been adjusted so that you can complete them in time trials, races, or a mix of both. The order descriptions have also been updated accordingly.
LEGO Fortnite brings various items for fishing: LEGO Fortnite also gets new items. This includes:

Important improvements, bug fixes and adjustments
GAME PLAY
Recipes are now unlocked more consistently in sandbox mode
Fixed a bug where players’ stamina would not refill.
Players will no longer spawn inside building foundations, inside snow, or on anything they were not on when logging out.
Allied villagers accompanying you on your adventure can now jump out of water and no longer get stuck in it.
Villagers who accompany you into a cave no longer care that it is raining outside.
Daggers now deal continuous damage when you are among enemies.
The dynamic foundation pivot has been recentered so that it is at the center of the foundation. The foundation rotates and now aligns itself correctly.
STABILITY AND PERFORMANCE
Fixed an issue where players were sometimes unable to rejoin their world.
PHYSICS
Fixed an issue where players were sometimes unable to place components on dynamic foundations until they were moved.
Fixed a bug that sometimes caused items to disappear from caves.
Objects destroyed by physics now drop resources more evenly.
USER INTERFACE
Various menus now correctly display your LEGO-style outfit portrait.
Fixed an issue where players could open the crafting menu while upgrading the workbench.
Fortnite Festival brings Lady Gaga: The Weeknd’s season is over and players can now get their hands on a new artist in Fortnite Festival with Season 2 – Lady Gaga. It comes with a skin, many cosmetic items and songs that you can purchase in the shop.
Improvements and bug fixes:
Players can now use Jam Loops in the Main Stage Backstage area, in Creative and UEFN experiences, and in UEFN Patchwork.
The usability of the Main Stage Music Library has been improved
Season 1 scores have been archived and will be available in future updates
The rankings and order when viewing leaderboard scores have been updated
Fixed a bug that caused using Brilliance to incorrectly end note streaks.
General bug fixes and improvements have been made.
Jam songs have been adjusted:
OG (Future Remix) – Drums
Lift notes have been added to groups of multiple eighth notes.
Go with the Flow – drums
Lift notes were added to the chorus as well as the occasional double kick. Lifts were also added to the snare/kick verse so that the flow doesn’t break.
Stitches – lead guitar
Lift notes were added to each group of three consecutive chords.
Zombie – lead guitar
Added a few lifts to the intro.
Can’t Feel My Face – vocals
Some lifts have been added wherever two sixteenth notes occur on the same track.
Suddenly I See – lead guitar
The authoring has been adjusted

What’s happening in Fortnite today? Epic Games is shutting down the Chapter 5 Season 1 servers to upload a new update. According to some teasers from leakers, Lady Gaga will be included in the festival pass as a new skin, and many Lego fans can also look forward to the new “fishing” feature.

This is the downtime in the morning: According to Epic Games, the servers are expected to shut down at 10:00 a.m. German time. Matchmaking is already deactivated 30 minutes beforehand, so you can no longer search for new rounds after 9:30 a.m.

When can you play again? This is a major update. It is therefore likely that Epic Games could restart the servers at 12:00 p.m. or as late as 1:00 p.m. But this has not been confirmed.
