The big song festival comes to Malmö in May when the semi-finals and final of the Eurovision song contest will be decided at Malmö Arena between 6 and 11 May.
And the city of Malmö has now presented parts of the city’s program for hosting and how Malmö will be transformed into one big Eurovision bubble.
– We in Malmö hope to welcome 100,000 visitors to our city and we arrange this joint party together, says Karin Karlsson, main project manager for Malmö city hosting, in a press release.
Eurovision hubs around town
Folkets park is transformed into Eurovision Village, Friisgatan becomes Eurovision Street and Malmö Live becomes the stage for the opening ceremony and closing party.
– We are really looking forward to the Eurovision week in Malmö. Everything that happens in town and in the Eurovision Village in Folkets Park complements the event at Malmö Arena perfectly, says Ebba Adielsson, Executive producer Eurovision Song Contest 2024 on SVT.
The final program will be presented at the end of March.
