The hunt for the “acid man” may be over – body found

First he tried to run over a woman, then he threw acid on her and her two daughters.
There has been an intensive search for Abdul Ezedi, 35, who terrorized London.
Now the body of the “acid man” may have been found.

It was at the end of January that Abdul Ezedi carried out the attack. The 35-year-old allegedly tried to run over a woman with whom he previously had a relationship. Then he threw acid on her and her two daughters. Several people who heard the woman’s screams and tried to help her were also injured. He also attacked the policemen who came to the scene. A total of nine people were injured in the attack.

Now the London police have found a body in the Thames that they believe is Abdul Ezed.

Intensive hunting

For 20 days there has been an intensive search for the so-called “acid man”. Shortly after the crime, the police released his name and picture and an intensive manhunt began. A £20,000 tip was issued and the public was warned as he was considered dangerous.

Police believe it was a corrosive alkaline substance thrown by Abdul Ezed. He himself had extensive injuries on one side of his face. The last traces of the perpetrator came from surveillance cameras along the Thames in London. He is said to have leaned out over the railings and therefore the police have focused their search on the river in the last week.
