According to the police, three people were initially in the car that stopped in the tunnel. Two left and walked away from the scene while the third remained in the car.
Caught in the car door
When police officers on the spot were talking to the man in the car, a second car arrived and the man then reportedly broke away from the police and threw himself into the other car.
– A policeman tries to get hold of him but is crushed in the car door. At the same time, two other police officers try to stop the car but have to jump out of the way to avoid being hit when it drives away, says Peter Adlersson.
At this point, the police have not found either the suspect or the car he fled in.
No police officer was seriously injured in the incident, which is now being investigated as attempted murder, aggravated assault and promoting escape.
