In Palworld you can sell your captured Pals to a merchant for gold, but a player has now captured said merchant and sold it to himself due to a bug
What kind of dealer is this?
Reddit user “zerotheskull” posted a 40-second video on the survival game’s subreddit in which he captures the black market dealer and then uses a bug to trick him into buying himself instead of a pal.

How did he get the dealer to sell himself? The player captured the Black Market Trader with a Pal Sphere, but before the capture was complete, he spoke to the trader.
The trade menu then opened, in which the black market dealer’s offer and the player’s Pal collection can be seen. Normally the player would now choose which Pal he would like to buy or sell.
When the catch was successfully completed and the player looked into the line with Pals on his team, the merchant himself appeared there. He was then able to sell this for 3,750 gold – to the merchant who was sleeping in the Pal sphere.
So the black market dealer bought himself, but when the purchase was completed, the shady figure simply disappeared.
What does the community say about this? The players saw the strange bug primarily as an opportunity to have fun with the black market dealer’s situation. For example, one user wrote, “I sold myself to myself and I was worth every bit of gold I gave myself,” summing up the trader’s possible thoughts.
Another user commented: “He didn’t sell himself to anyone and disappeared into the cosmic dimension. Good thing he paid for your ticket to purgatory.”
