Last week we wanted to know from you which roadmap features you wanted to have first for Palworld. Over 1,100 people took part and the open world is already too small for almost a quarter of you. Here are your results.
What is the current status at Palworld? Palworld has been available in Early Access for a month since February 19th. The four weeks were quite turbulent for the game. Here are a few highlights:
Palworld has now been updated with three patches. The development team is also looking for reinforcements in order to be able to further develop the game more quickly. According to Pocket Pair, Palworld is scheduled to have an early access period of one year, for which they published a roadmap.
You are builders and explorers – this is what 1,100 participants voted for
This survey was about: Now that you have had a first impression of Palworld, we wanted to know from you which of the roadmap features you would like to see implemented first. And what additional features you would like.
This is how you chose: In the survey you could choose between the various announced features from the roadmap and give your vote to the features that you wanted to have implemented first.
1,190 readers voted for the dissolution on February 20, 2024. This is how you distributed your votes:
How big is the Palworld? The world is too small for almost a quarter of you. So how big is she actually?
According to developer Pocket Pair, the map that can currently be explored is around 16 square kilometers in size. This makes it significantly smaller than worlds like in Skyrim (approx. 37 square kilometers) or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (approx. 84 square kilometers).
Nevertheless, the Palapagos Islands encompass a wide variety of terrain and climate: here you will find lush green meadows, fire-breathing volcanoes and eternal ice.
If you explore primarily on foot, you’ll be busy for quite a while, even if the world size isn’t quite as big as other games. Therefore we have linked some mounting tips here:
Improved storage, multiplayer and pal teams – you have written us your wishes
As part of the survey, we also wanted to know which features you would like that have not yet been included in the roadmap. Your suggestions revolve around the Pal teams, the warehouse system and the multiplayer.
What do you want for the Pals? MeinMMO reader Zischrot writes that a way to mark Pals in the Palbox would be great: For example, for later sale or to “pin” them in the Pal box so that they are always at the beginning/end despite being sorted.
Reader Gekkosera, on the other hand, hopes for an option to assign Pal teams: A possible assignment to “Pal teams” would also be nice. When I fight an ice boss, I want my 5 fire pals, and for other bosses I want different ones, etc. This way you could create several teams over time without having to constantly exchange them individually.
What other features do you want? D Mastersauer hopes that in the future it will be possible to play Palworld multiplayer even if the world host is not online. P5ych0_ch4n, on the other hand, has some suggestions such as auto-crafting, bug fixes and better NPC AI. But the priority should be to satisfy your own inner Monk:
I would like a better storage system! My inner Monk always gets very excited when the Pals seem to put a single stone in each box, so I have to rearrange everything by hand so that I have space.
Did you expect the results? Or are you surprised by the first three places? Do you have any ideas about what features could help Palworld in the future? Please continue to leave us your comments.
Even though Palworld’s Early Access has been running for about a month now, players are still finding new things. Someone has now unlocked the most useless weapon so you don’t have to.
