Hidden behind an old pink and beige-striped facade at the Pieterskerkhof in Utrecht is the Van Schijndelhuis. It was the dream of architect Mart van Schijndel (1943-1999): a house for himself in which all his ideas about architecture and design would come together, with the most modern technical innovations. His wife Natascha Drabbe still lives there and ensures that the iconic house remains as he once envisioned it, partly with furniture that Mart designed himself. Every month Natascha shows during a tour what makes the house so special.
