A man in his 20s has been detained at Luleå district court, suspected of a series of rapes in Piteå. It is about three cases of rape against children and one case of rape, reports Norrländska Socialdemokraten.
The criminal suspicions stem from the period December 2020 to March 2023. It concerns several different plaintiffs, according to District Attorney Moa Grahn, who, however, does not want to state how many.
The man denies wrongdoing. Charges must be filed by March 1 at the latest.
