Israeli special forces are currently operating at the Nasser Hospital in Southern Gaza, the country’s armed forces announced on Thursday.

The hospital in Khan Yunis is looking for hostages that were taken by the terrorist organization Hamas during the October attack on Israel.

According to Israel, it has reliable information that there may be hostages inside the hospital. Some of this information comes from previously released hostages.

– We are conducting highly targeted rescue operations at locations where our intelligence estimates hostages may be being held, Admiral Daniel Hagari commented on a video published by the Israeli Armed Forces.

According to him, Hamas exploits hospitals systematically.

– Based on the intelligence material and the information we gathered from the field, we estimate that Hamas has used more than 85 percent of the most important hospitals in Gaza to promote terrorism, Hagari continued.

At least 1,200 Israelis were killed and about 250 taken hostage when the terrorist organization Hamas attacked southern Israel on October 7.

According to the Health Ministry of Hamas-controlled Gaza, at least 28,663 Palestinians have been killed and 68,395 injured in Israel’s counterattack on Hamas-controlled areas.
