Building a base is one of the central elements of Palworld. One player is getting the most out of construction mode and impressed the Reddit community with his “Anubis Base”.
How you build your base in Palworld is entirely up to you. Some build functionally, others rely on particularly pretty designs. There are numerous posts on Reddit from players who share their creations with the community.
A player presented his “Anubis Base” on Reddit on February 14th and impressed the community. Many users praise his work, some note that this is a whole city, and not a simple base.
“Your pals live better than me”
What did the player build? In the 4-minute video on Reddit, user “bakaforever2” shows a tour of his “Anubis Base” in Palworld, which is surrounded by tall stone towers. At the beginning of the video, the player character stands in front of a huge statue of Anubis. There are numerous plants and a fountain in front of the entrance.
The player character then runs into an area of the base that is reminiscent of a spa with the hot springs and upholstered furniture. In the next area you can see several large round beds and a second, open floor where there are Pal beds.
The player has built something in a wooden building that resembles a reception area. There are several bathrooms and bedrooms in the building. A bar can be seen outside, including many seating areas and even a piano.
Another building is reminiscent of a restaurant with its reception area and seating areas. The player then presents various work tools. The arrangement of the equipment and desks makes it seem like a small company. Apparently there is also a break room with a couch and TV as well as a bathroom.
How does the community react? The post has over 10,000 upvotes and more than 1,000 comments. The top comment with over 1,300 upvotes comes from “Mikedogg1234”. He writes, “I feel inferior.” To which one user responds, “I literally have a one-story 2×4 house with bare necessities in an open field.”
Another user replies that it only has a C-shaped structure [als Basis] for the bed. And someone replies: “I don’t even have a house or a bed.” In another comment, a user writes: “Your Pals live better than me.”
The user “LancerAbhi” states in the comment: “This is not a base, this is a city.” And “DanFriul” comments: “This is beyond amazing. At first I had the feeling that this was a trailer introducing a city in an open-world RPG. I would definitely buy the game.”
In the open world of Palworld you can set up up to three Palboxes at the same time, which means you can also have up to three bases at the same time. Therefore, the choice of locations for your bases is crucial.
