In Diablo 4 it has been possible to craft Uber Uniques since patch 1.3.2. However, players have their doubts about the new system and are of the opinion that no one will probably use it.
Dismantling Uber Uniques now earns you a new material, Magnificent Sparks. After the crafting was tested by various players and streamers, it is apparently clear: you get a spark for dismantling an Uber Unique.
In concrete terms, this means that you need 5 “Magnificent Sparks” from 5 Uber Uniques and 50 million gold to be able to produce an Uber Unique from the Alchemist in Diablo 4:
“5 sparks for an Uber Unique is a bit ridiculous”
Why will no one use the crafting system? In a post on
He says that 5 Sparks for an Uber Unique seems “a bit ridiculous” for most players, but 3 for 1 sounds more reasonable. It would be good “if normal uniques can be processed into sparks with a small chance”.
Although the drop rate of Uber Uniques outside of the runs on the boss Duriel was increased with patch 1.3.2, the possibility of finding one of the rare items is “still almost impossible,” wrote Rob2628 on February 14th X
In the post he expresses an idea:
What if you could convert normal uniques into something useful?
Suggestion:
Recycle normal unique = 1 spark
Exploit Uber Unique = 50 Sparks
Crafting Uber Unique = 200 Sparks
The numbers can still be adjusted, but this would give everyone a reasonable chance during a 3 month season and this would also make double normal uniques useful.

Crafting normal uniques is a good idea, players say
What do other players say? On Reddit, user “magiksen” writes in his post from February 13th that the crafting system for Uber Uniques only is bad. He also believes that a system “like 30 uniques for 1 Uber unique” would make more sense.
One user replies: “I don’t think you should be able to craft Ubers from regular Uniques, but I think it’s a great idea to allow crafting from regular Uniques too […] so you have earlier access to certain builds.”
Another user says most people will never have even one Uber Drop, let alone use 5 of them for crafting. And “QualityKoalaCola” notes in the comment that he loves the idea of unique crafting outside of Ubers. “There is nothing more disappointing than the 90,000th frostburn [Unique-Handschuhe] to find ones that go straight into the trash.”
The comment with the most upvotes under the post comes from “CapriciousManchild”. He writes: “No, you can’t just get things that you have to grind for hours every day to have a small chance because it’s a job not a game!!!!!!”
Other players also compare the grind for the best loot in Diablo 4 to a full-time job. If you want more than just the better items, you actually have to invest a lot of time, because loot doesn’t automatically drop in the best possible version and also has to be checked in detail.
On Reddit, a user recently expressed his displeasure that the older Diablo and its Resurrected version were so much more fun than the latest offshoot: Player compares farming good items in Diablo 4 with a full-time job: “Diablo 2 did it better “
