Apple announced that there are currently more than 1,000 apps designed specifically for Vision Pro. The announcement came from Apple Senior Vice President of Marketing Greg Joswiak, who added that there are more than 1.5 million compatible apps for the headset.
Apple Vision Pro continues to add new applications
Apps are available on a dedicated VisionOS App Store, with over 600 available since day one 12 days ago. Some important platforms such as Netflix, YouTube and Spotify said that they would not develop a special application and that users should use the services through the Safari browser.
The Google-owned video service later changed its stance and announced that the Vision Pro application was on the roadmap. Some say YouTube did a complete 180 after seeing the success of the title, but there’s also the possibility of royalties being missed since a third-party app has already made its mark and users are paying $5 for it.
