Sarnia police are asking the public for help in an investigation into shots fired from a vehicle last week that hit a family home.

Police are seeking any information or video people may have related to the shooting last Tuesday on Fairview Place.

At about 10:30 pm that night, “an unknown party indiscriminately launched a volley of rapid-fire gunshots into a family dwelling from the area of the roadway while passing in a vehicle,” police said.
Bullets penetrated the outside of the home, police said.
“Thankfully, none of the occupants of the dwelling house were struck by the bullets as they entered the home,” police said.
The home is in the 100 block of Fairview Place in the Cardiff Acres residential neighborhood.
