For Louise Hansson’s little sister Sophie, 25, it was not as successful a Monday as for her two-year-older sister.
About half an hour after Louise’s final, she swam the semi-finals of the 100 meter breaststroke.
Was happy for older sister
There she started strongly and was second after 50 meters, but lost in the second half and finished fifth. She missed the final by twelve hundredths. Her time was 1.06.78.
– I think it feels good and it doesn’t feel like I’m clapping through, but the little extra isn’t there now, says Sophie Hansson, who was of course disappointed to miss the final – but was happy for her older sister.
– I really get to dry my tears and go and be happy for her, she says.
