Chinese company vivo has already launched two V30 series smartphones, the vanilla V30 and V30 Lite. Both are available worldwide in markets where vivo officially sells its products. However, there is another V30 series phone that vivo has not introduced yet but plans to introduce in the not too distant future. That is vivo V30 Pro. Judging by its name and recently leaked specs, this happens to be vivo’s most powerful mid-range phone to date.
According to the benchmark listing on Geekbench, vivo v30 Pro is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor and no less than 12 GB of RAM. As expected, the phone runs on Android 14, but that’s all the information we got from testing. If the rumors prove true, the v30 Pro could be a rebranded version of the China-exclusive vivo S18 Pro.
For starters, the S18 Pro is powered by a much better MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor and has 16GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage. However, the rest of the features may be the same, including a 6.78-inch FHD+AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and triple camera setup (50MP + 50MP + 12MP). Additionally, the S18 Pro has a 5,000 mAh battery, which has become standard for mid- and high-end smartphones.
