The flying motorcycle developed in Japan is on sale for $680,000.

The flying motorcycle developed by the company ALI Technologies in Japan was offered for sale at a price of 680 thousand dollars (approximately 6.5 million TL).

The motorcycle, called “XTurismo Limited Edition”, can fly up to 100 km per hour for 40 minutes on a single charge.

The Tokyo-based initiative, supported by electronics giant Mitsubishi and Japanese football player Keisuke Honda, aims to produce 200 flying motorcycles that only one person will know by mid-2022.

XTurismo Limited Editions have four engines, one conventional and one battery powered.

ALI Technologies CEO Daisuke Katano said they “hope to introduce a new way of moving” with their new production.

Overcrowding is a big problem for Tokyo, which has a population of 13 million. The high-tech city is one of the most populated metropolitan areas in the world.

However, current laws in Japan prevent flying motorcycles from flying on busy roads.

Speaking at the launch on the race track, Katano said that for this reason, the vehicle can only be used on such tracks in Japan in the near future.

Alternatively, Katano thinks the vehicle can be used to navigate to areas inaccessible to rescue teams.
