Expressen writes that the popular artist Fröken Snusk was sexually assaulted during the genre rehearsal for Melodifestivalen’s second competition.
The artist’s PR manager Jessica W Sandberg writes to TV4 Nyheterna that a man who did not belong to Ms. Snusk’s team sat down next to the artist.
“When she then comes back to the lodges before her performance, we learn that the man sexually molested Fröken. We were, as you can understand, extremely upset. SVT immediately took this very seriously,” she writes.
The project manager: “No lack of security”
Melodifestivalen’s project manager Anders Winstbacka tells TV4 Nyheterna that what has happened is unacceptable and that the man was accredited, but would not have been in the greenroom at the time.
“But there was no lack of security as the person had the correct accreditation to be there. This was a flaw in the editorial work that we have corrected. Our security staff acted as soon as they learned what had happened. The person in question was stripped of his accreditation and had to leave the arena,” he writes via his press contact.
