STATEMENT FROM ISRAELI DEFENSE MINISTER GALLANT
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant spoke at the Julis base, where Hamas weapons and documents seized in Gaza will be presented to ministers on Sunday. Gallant said in his statement: “The deepening of the operation in Gaza brings us closer to a realistic agreement on the return of the hostages.” he said.
Gallant also claimed that they infiltrated Hamas’s intelligence service, saying, “We infiltrated the heart of Hamas’s most sensitive places, used combat vehicles and blew them up in the field. All of this is the result of deepening Hamas’ capabilities and penetrating its heart. The Hamas official also said, “What Netanyahu and the Israeli army could not achieve in four months, they will not be able to achieve even if the war is prolonged.”

The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry announced that 112 Palestinians died and 173 Palestinians were injured in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry announced that a total of 28 thousand 176 Palestinians have died and 67 thousand 784 Palestinians have been injured in Israel’s attacks on Gaza since October 7.
