Gunilla Persson’s battle with illness before Melodifestivalen

She fainted, was hospitalized and landed at Arlanda in a wheelchair.
It has been a messy upload for Gunilla Persson before Melodifestivalen.
– I’m a bit dizzy, she says in Nyhetsmorgon.

It hit like a bomb. Hollywood wife Gunilla Persson will perform in Melodifestivalen. On Saturday, February 17, she will perform with the song “I won’t shake (La La Gunilla)” in Växjö.

But the upload has been shaky. On Friday, Gunilla Persson landed in Sweden – in a wheelchair.

– I’m a bit dizzy. But I feel well enough to be able to sit here with you, she says in Nyhetsmorgon, referring to the presenter Anders Pihlblad.

Hospitalized for several days

Gunilla Persson says that the doctors took several different tests and that it does not appear to be anything dangerous.

– It is the case that I have been in hospital for four days because one morning I felt that the whole room was going around as if in circles. Like sitting on a boat in a storm and the dizziness didn’t go away, it was terrible dizziness. When Erika (her daughter, editor’s note) drove me to the infirmary, I fainted and then the ambulance came to pick me up, she says.

X-rayed the brain

According to her herself, it must be some form of crystal sickness, but she doesn’t know for sure yet.

– I’m a little confused about what it could be. But at least I know it’s nothing dangerous because they took a brain X-ray and the brain is in very good condition, she says.

The Hollywood wife says that she is still in shock that she will participate in Melodifestivalen. But the recent turmoil will not change the number.

– No not at all. I need to rest a little more than usual. I need to be able to stretch out on a bed. That is the only requirement that exists now, she says.
