The Swedish police are investigating a case in which two teenage girls were walking in the center of Stockholm with a bag of hand grenades, Aftonbladet news.
Surveillance cameras at subway stations have captured images of 14- and 15-year-olds carrying a large turquoise bag from the Normal chain store.
According to the police, there were six hand grenades in the girls’ bag.
With the help of surveillance camera images, the police have mapped the girls’ movements with dangerous explosives.
– The surveillance images show that they traveled around the city, went for coffee and used the subway, the prosecutor Jonas Nygren said Aftonbladet Krim on the podcast.
According to the prosecutor, the girls probably work for a criminal group.
The police are currently investigating which criminal group recruited minors to transport dangerous explosives.
Coffee with hand grenades
Surveillance cameras recorded the movements of two teenagers in Stockholm in August. At first glance, it looks like the girls are shopping.
On August 12, a surveillance camera recorded a moving image of a 15-year-old girl getting on a bus north of Stockholm. He has a bag from the Normal shop with him.

The girls take the subway to the Husby district and go up the escalator to a busy pedestrian street.
Outside, the girls stop for a moment in front of a grocery store to drink energy drinks. One of the girls is smoking, you can see in the pictures.
After five o’clock, the girls get on the subway. In less than an hour, they arrive in the city center, head from Sergel square to the Drottninggatan shopping street and go to the Espresso House cafe.
In the cafe, the 14-year-old takes several pictures. Almost all pictures show the turquoise Normal bag.
Later, the 14-year-old returns home by bus and local train. He has a bag with explosives.
The mother of the younger girl filed a report with the police the day after the girls met.
