The conditions were clear for the hottest match of the evening, where the last playoff spot was at stake. Hammarby would make it to eighth with a win or a draw. Broberg needed a win when the regular season ended tonight.
With ten minutes from the end, Broberg secured the victory. Karl Tagesson came forward and fired a heavy shot from outside for 4-1 and great jubilation erupted from the traveling heel.
Hammarby had to see the playoff spot slip from their hands
Hammarby took a grip on the round of 16 by taking a 1-0 lead at the end of the first half. Melker Broberg advanced on the right wing and freed David Jansson, who was able to use his speed and score 1-0.
